  • The Starving Musician: Myth or Reality?

  • The Artist as Teacher
Most performing musicians will teach in some capacity during their career, either in private lessons, school residencies, as Teaching Artists, in educational concerts, summer music camps or other venues. Learn the basic elements from which expert teaching grows: artistry—pedagogy—communication—business.

  • Performance Wellness
Overwhelming stress profoundly affects many musicians physically, mentally and musically. Performance Wellness training prepares musicians at every level to identify and manage stress for themselves. Highly useful techniques for teachers as well.

  • Learning Styles
Self-awareness also aids our understanding of others. Explore a number of different approaches to personality assessment and learning styles, useful techniques as we seek authentic vocation for ourselves and later, as we teach, counsel and work with others.
